Bball Brainiac Academy was founded by Bryce Butler, a seasoned basketball player whose journey from youth leagues to collegiate courts has equipped him with a wealth of knowledge and a deep network within the basketball community.​

A Journey Through Competitive Basketball

My high level basketball career began at The Gilman School in Maryland, where I honed my skills and developed a passion for the game. Seeking better college opportunities, I attended Suffield Academy, a prestigious NEPSAC Class A prep school, helping lead the team to the 2017 NEPSAC Finals as a Post-Graduate SG.

I continued my athletic & academic pursuits at Susquehanna University, where I played as a combo guard and served as team captain. During my tenure, I averaged just over 9 ppg, was recognized as the Landmark Conference Senior Scholar-Athlete, and won a Landmark Conference Championship. After COVID, I concluded my collegiate playing career at Hood College. As a 5th year transfer, I was lucky to have established myself as a starter and contributed to a MAC Commonwealth Conference Championship.

Building a Network Across All Levels

Throughout my basketball journey, I have cultivated relationships with coaches and players across various levels. These include NCAA Division I, II, and III programs, high school teams, and AAU circuits such as the EYBL. My firsthand experience and connections provide invaluable insights into the strategies, challenges, and opportunities within the basketball landscape.​

Motivated by my experiences and the mentors who guided me, I created the Bball Brainiac Academy to serve as a comprehensive resource for players, parents, and coaches. The platform offers recruiting consulting, in-depth video breakdowns and a supportive online community, all designed to educate and empower individuals at every stage of their basketball journey.​
